vanHaren - Brantano Deal

vanHaren Schoenen and the Brantano deal

"Together, we can achieve anything"

The Dutch shoe retail chain vanHaren, part of the German Deichmann, has acquired 40 Brantano stores in Flanders from the bankrupt FNG.

When we learned that FNG was in troubled waters, we proactively started screening the Brantano properties with our client vanHaren so that we had already done our homework when a deal was possible.

VanHaren is owned by Deichmann, a German fashion mogul. The family-owned company has more than 4.200 stores in 30 countries, including in Europe and the US and employs 43.000 people. Deichmann sells 74 million pairs of shoes annually and records 5.8 billion euros in sales.
In addition to vanHaren, Deichmann is also active in Belgium with Snipes, a chain that sells sportswear and sneakers and for which we also provide management and expansion.
